I remember a lazy day a couple months ago.

Nothing to do so I'm flipping through the stations on my AM Radio.

Tuned to a station with the 1 PM News, so I went to find another channel to choose,

'til I heard a voice that made me wanna say....

For 5 minutes at 1 & 2, I simply fall in love with you.

Well maybe she has a boyfriend or someone in her life that she loves,

but I don't care as long as I can hear her voice everyday like the song of a dove.

I know there are lows that she'd never stoop, but she'll always be right there to
get the scoop. 

Whatever happens she keeps me in the loop.

I hope and pray that she hears this song, so she's knows that everyday I long to

listen to her voice so sweet, you know she makes my day complete.

I hope someday that she hears my plea, to not be someone you don't wanna be,

'cause now no one is more up to date than me.
